Fundraising

Over the years 'The Centre' has also been involved in Fund-Raising activities and has done much in the way of finding new and innovative ways of raising funds for 'The Centre'. Draw-2-Win is one such venture. A special offer which closes at the end of April has been set up to encourage new subscriptions. For all new members who join before 5pm on 30th April 2009, and for all existing members who make payment before 5pm on 30th April 2009, will be entered into a one off £50.00 cash draw which will take place at the Village Centre on May 4th 2009...read more

Directions to The Centre

Great Eccleston Village Centre is located in Great Eccleston, Lancashire, England. Enter PR3 0YB for 'Sat Nav' Directions. We are approximately 15 from Blackpool and 25 minutes from Preston.

From the M6 motorway (JUNCTION 32)

Exit the M6 motorway at Junction 32 for the M55 (Blackpool). Leave the M55 motorway at Junction 3 (A585, Fleetwood Road) and initially head towards Fleetwood. Upon reaching a T-junction turn right (A586), following the signs for Great Eccleston, which is approximately 3km. At the next Gt Eccleston sign turn right, as directed, into Gt Eccleston. Continue along this, the main road, and The Centre is on the right, between the two pubs, The White Bull and the Black Bull.

From Blackpool (Plymouth Road Roundabout)

From Plymouth Road roundabout (junction of Talbot Road and Garstang Road) head along Garstang Road. Continue along Garstang Road (A585, A586) for approximately 10-11km before turning right as directed by the sign, into Gt Eccleston. Continue along this, the High Street, and The Centre is on the right, between the two pubs, The White Bull and the Black Bull.

Great Eccleston Village Centre is manned primarily by volunteers, the variety of jobs to do are endless and no particular skills are necessary, but a smile is essential.

If you have an hour or more to spare and would like to meet people and make new friends whilst helping the local community, please do not hesitate to call the Village Centre and ask to speak to Terri or Diane who will be only too pleased to discuss what being a volunteer at the Village Centre will entail.
